The T-Ball Division is intended to be a fun and learning experience for children from the ages of 5 to 6. This division is developmental, and recreational and is not intended to subject the children to fierce competition. T-Ball is intended to provide a grounding in the fundamentals of baseball and stresses good sportsmanship.

Here Are Some Basic Rules

1) Coaches must bring their equipment bag to each session.

2) Coaches to follow the Little League Canada T-Ball Manual for the season so each child is receiving the same level of coaching and lessons.

3) When hitting, all spare players must stand or sit inside the dugout to avoid injury.

4) Once batters have completed their base running, they must return to the dugout.

5) Bat/equipment throwing or other unsafe behavior is unacceptable.

6) If the weather is questionable, call the Field Line at 506-652-PLAY (7529). If the fields are open, it’s game on. (this should be communicated to all parents)

7) A batting helmet is always required when at bat.

8) T-balls (soft) will be used during games.
